I was always given feedback when it came to interviews that I was set up for and a little history of the company and position. I wasn't looking for just a different job, but a work place that would provide challenges and ensure I looked forward to go to work in the mornings. I referred you to many friends and in future I would certainly use your services again. 10 March 2010 The first time one of your recruitment consultants and I had contact, was when she phoned me and asked if I was perhaps looking for a new adventure (referring to a new job). I believe in being open minded so I figured, what do I have to loose in seeing what's out there. Little did I know exactly how good this lady is at making things happen :) She asked to see me to put a few admin things into place. She wanted to see me the next day already. After getting together, she explained to me that she'll now start looking for jobs based on my preferences we discussed and get back to me as soon as possible. Usually I believe these things take a bit of time, but apparently not so with her, the very next day she already sent me an email with 5 job possibilities! I was really surprised, amazed and impressed. I selected a few possibilities and she then handled EVERYTHING regarding the interviews I went for. She phoned me informing me when and where, emailed me all the technical details regarding the job I was going for an interview. Also, after every interview she phoned me asking how it went, what I was thinking etc. A few times I had queries afterwards which she also attended to, either answering me directly, or phoning the company and finding out for me. She also took responsibility of the 'after interview' procedures, getting back in contact with me, giving me feedback etc. In the cases here I decided to decline a job, she also handled that, which really makes it easy for the candidate. After a month already I decided on a job, signed the contract and was ready for the 'new adventure'. I'm really impressed with my recruitment consultant. Not just through the whole job hunting process, but even now afterwards. I've already been at my new company for almost 2 months and s till hear from her, asking how things are going etc. She obviously enjoys her job and her personality definitely makes her perfect for what she does. For her it's not just about finding someone a different job, it's about finding the right job for the right person. I believe she also understands that changing jobs is not just another thing in everyday life, it's big change and not all people like big changes. Unfortunately I was retrenched last year and was forced to be in the job market again. I'm in IT and as you there are a lot of people that have studied this profession, the market is quite strained. I emailed my CV to about 20 different recruiting agencies. Abacus was the first to call me and Abacus contacted me only 3 hours later, initially I was amazed at how quickly you phoned me.
